Have you heard about this artificial island they are creating in Dubai? They are building islands that look like things. Like a palm tree. Or a map of the world. And then the mega rich people can LIVE THERE. Instant oceanfront property They make them by dredging sand up and then spraying it around in whatever pattern they want. Is this really cool, or an abomination? Is this an absurd use of time, technology and money, or would I live there in a second if I had the money? They've got a "sports city." It's amazing. Is this wrong? I dunno. Check out their site, it's pretty amazing too.
